Content

Melbourne

Beyond the build, Waterside continues to bring us in for their biggest moments. From campaign shoots to iconic venue activations, we're the team they trust when it needs to look world class. It's an ongoing partnership built on creative consistency and a shared standard for what great content should feel like.

Summary

The Waterside Hotel is one of Melbourne's most ambitious hospitality projects, a seven-level venue on the corner of Flinders and King Streets Broadsheet that was eight years in the making. We came on board before the doors ever opened, documenting the build from the ground up and helping introduce the world to everything inside it, including Past Port, the Southeast Asian restaurant concept living within the venue.

Challenge

A project this size carries a story that's easy to lose. Waterside needed more than launch content. They needed a visual record of how it came to life, and an introduction to the people, spaces, and ideas that made it worth the wait. That included executive chef Sarah Chan Broadsheet, whose personal heritage and culinary identity sits at the heart of Past Port.

Solutions

We documented the journey of the build as it happened. From construction to fit-out to opening, we captured each element of the venue as it took shape. For Past Port, we led with Sarah's story, putting the chef front and centre as the human thread that ties the food, the culture, and the space together. The result was content that gave audiences a reason to care before they ever walked through the door.
